Imperial Tobacco had used our expertise in the design development, production, and installation of individual tobacco brand displays and promotions. A new campaign was to support retailers on the ground in all the major western European tourist destinations. They approached us to support the implementation by means of production of bespoke fitted furniture and site installation into multiple markets.
Project Scope & Budget
The client required custom joinery services , individual branded displays building in the UK ready to ship and install into a vast range of western European tourist destinations. Much time was spent in each market surveying each potential location for the client’s main brands. Once a site concept was agreed we than took over the custom built joinery project ensuring it met with the allocated budget for that individual retailer.
Approach & Solution
With Artisan Retail Joinery extensive experience in producing both client’s individual branded displays for over 10 years in a variety of UK and European travel retail environments our team were able to apply our custom joinery skills and application to meet the demanding nature of this comprehensive project. Production took place meeting an extensive calendar programme of works over 3 years with co-ordinated trips abroad by our custom joinery fitting teams to meet each shipment on site and complete the bespoke fitted furniture installation.
From the Greek Islands, west through the Mediterranean tourist spots, into the Canary Islands and some on mainland Europe, we delivered in excess of 60 sites.
By controlling each project from concept agreement the extensive programme of works abroad was achieved with very little interruption. The client reported substantial gains in market share in each location giving them much enhanced influence with the retailers and brand leader status across each region.
