Date

September 2017

Clients Background

Elemis is a Luxury British Skincare Brand

Project Scope & Budget

To help the client develop and roll out the new global design throughout the UK within John Lewis Partnership. We worked closely with the client to develop a working prototype of the new concept, a bespoke exhibition stand. The challenges included incorporating integrated cutting-edge equipment into the allocated space whilst both sticking to the design and making useable for the consultants.

Approach & Solution

Our team worked closely with our long-standing contact, along with a number of senior figures from Elemis, in order to ascertain what was required as working space. Artisan had to draw on all our expertise as joinery manufacturers to build a fully functional prototype (with a view of using this instore once complete).

Prototype was set up and fully tested by the representatives from Elemis.

Upon feedback from Elemis alterations were required, these were altered on the prototype and amended on the designs for the future projects.

The altered prototype site was installed into John Lewis, Oxford Street, London and then tested in an actual working environment.

It was then deemed that further tweaks and alterations were required eg extended sink worktops, pull out gift wrapping stations, these were amended on site and again added to the designs for future projects

Artisan custom joinery services were instrumental in the rollout of this new designs throughout all A-spec site locations.

Conclusion

After trial and error, along with our combined knowledge and expertise on site, a template for future sites was created that balanced both design and function.

Our team worked closely with our long-standing contact, along with a number of senior figures from Elemis, in order to ascertain what was required as working space.
